Dday - 8

The backwards counting to going back to school has started! Amandine and Kévin are going back on Thursday next week and the other 3 betwwen the 2nd and 3rd September (4 different schools with 4 different calendars + 1 starting Secondary school means 3 back to school days for our tribe!)

Yesterday I wasn't working so we went to do the first wave of shopping for school. I was well organised, with a list, off to Leclerc we went. I was so clever I managed to get 57 euros cashback, even the cashier found that well rewarded! It is true that for that 400 euros were spent and the boys were fascinated by the length of the ticket which they hurried to measure to proudly announce the town's record. But 400 euros of school stuff, socks and shoes and clothes divided by 4 children is quite reasonable and we did have 136 items so well done Leclerc! And thank you for the 57 euros which Laura will spend in no time when it's her turn on Thursday but still...

Amandine is so pleased with her first school bag that she keeps asking every five minutes if it's tomorrow she's going back to school? Tou never know, we could have changed our mind...

But let's not forget that summer is not over yet, enjoy the present... Not too looking forward to falling back into the routine of the school homework every evening !!!!
